7 dead; 17 critically wounded in car bomb attack at Benghazi military academy graduation

Benghazi, Libya (Monday March, 17, 2014):  At least 7 dead and 17 others injured when a car bomb exploded outside a military academy in the city of Benghazi, eastern Libya.

The ages of the dead and injured range from 20 to 28 years old.  The car bomb went of as the new graduates were leaving the school after attending the graduation ceremony and received their graduation certificates.

The students were part of military program to create a national army for the country.  No official statement from the government on who might be behind the attack and/or their motives.

Benghazi has been the center of daily assassination and killing, leaving the country in a state of chaos and lawlessness.
